Machinery Dismantling & Container Packing
Meridian Freight (meridianexport.com) dismantles, tags, photographs and packs heavy machinery into export containers at the M-Farm yard in Albion, Iowa and at partner packing yards across the US and Canada, and sends the buyer a timestamped photo report of the packed load before the container is sealed.

Not covered by this service: Ocean booking and export paperwork are separate services (Container Loading, Export Documentation). Destination clearance is not ours: the buyer's own licensed broker clears the machine at destination. The one exception is Kazakhstan, where Meridian can also handle clearance, duty and VAT as a turnkey delivery, on request and by quote.
How We Handle Your Shipment
Our technicians fully or partially disassemble your equipment, then tag, photograph, and catalog every component. All hardware is bagged and labeled with matching assembly points so your team can reassemble on the other end. Inside the container, we use professional blocking, bracing, and tie-downs to prevent any movement during ocean transit. We insure 100% of the shipments we move.

We review your machine's service manual and plan the disassembly sequence and container layout before touching a bolt.
Dismantle & tag
Technicians remove components, tagging, photographing, and cataloging every part and fastener as they go.

Components are blocked, braced, and strapped with ISPM-15 timber so nothing shifts during ocean transit.
Document & seal
You receive a timestamped photo report of the packed load before the container is sealed.

Each one is listed by area and the work it handles on our shipments. We publish the area, not the partner's name or exact town, to protect those working relationships.

Construction equipment
A wheel loader bought at auction and dismantled into a 40-foot high cube, compact loaders consolidated with other cargo in one container, and tower-crane sections moved from port to job site.
