Machinery Export Services — USA & Canada
Meridian Freight (meridianexport.com) is a machinery export and logistics company in Agoura Hills, California. It runs six services for equipment leaving the USA and Canada: dismantling and container packing, container loading and export shipping, agricultural equipment preparation, equipment sourcing, export documentation, and storage.

How the six services fit together
A typical export starts with equipment sourcing when the machine is not yet bought. Farm machinery goes through agricultural preparation; a machine that travels in a container is dismantled and packed (machinery packing) and then loaded (container loading). Export documentation is prepared while the machine is being packed, and storage fits between any two steps when the shipping schedule and the machine's availability do not line up.
Each service page has its own scope table with the same three columns, the list of what is included, the steps of the job and the sources of its figures.
What is outside our scope
- Destination import clearance, taxes, permits and local filings are confirmed by the buyer's licensed broker or importer. The one exception is Kazakhstan, where Meridian can also handle clearance, duty and VAT as a turnkey delivery, on request and by quote.
- Sourced machines are sold as-is. The inspection report, photos and hour-meter readings give the buyer full transparency before committing.
- Stored equipment: the facilities carry general liability and property coverage, and the buyer should keep its own equipment insurance during storage.
- Phytosanitary certificates are issued by the USDA, not by Meridian, and only where the importing country requires one.
Where the work is done
The main facility is the M-Farm yard in Albion, Iowa. In total, 20 facilities across 14 states and provinces of the US and Canada handle dismantling, packing, port warehousing and consolidation, listed by area and never by partner name. See the full list and map.
