Meridian's local partners removed the wheels and positioned both sprayers on a single rail platform in Poti, with the wheels packed separately in a container. Compared with two independent rail platforms, the arrangement generated estimated gross savings of about $6,000 before allocating the cost of the separate wheel container; the net saving remained several thousand dollars.

Meridian's local partners removed the wheels and positioned both sprayers on a single rail platform in Poti. Wheels from these and other machines in the same consolidation were packed separately in a container. Compared with two independent rail platforms, the arrangement generated estimated gross savings of about $6,000 before allocating the cost of the separate wheel container. Because that container served several machines, the exact net saving for these two sprayers cannot be isolated, but it remained several thousand dollars.
