Sprayers · 2025
2025 case study: a 14.5-metric-ton John Deere 4830 sprayer dismantled into one 40-foot High Cube instead of oversize transport, then shipped via New York.

The dealer purchased the sprayer in Illinois. Ro-Ro and Flat Rack transportation were available, but the project schedule allowed the machine to be dismantled and later reassembled. Meridian therefore proposed a 40-foot High Cube container solution expected to save approximately $5,000 against an alternative third-party transport quotation. The boom sections were secured in the upper left and right corners of the container. Other heavy assemblies were positioned around the central chassis so the 14.5-metric-ton equipment load remained stable and the long boom structures were protected from direct contact with the main frame. Meridian's responsibility ended in Klaipeda. The dealer controlled the truck transfer and onward movement to Kazakhstan. The sprayer was subsequently assembled and placed in service. Conditions occurring after the Klaipeda handoff were outside Meridian's transportation scope.
