Vermeer T1255 Mining Unit - Galveston Ro-Ro Export

In 2026 Meridian Freight coordinated the export of an approximately 70-metric-ton Vermeer T1255 mining unit that required a lowboy: domestic trucking to Galveston, export documentation, port transfer to a MAFI and the ocean segment to China. The onward segment to Kyrgyzstan was outside Meridian's scope.

The shipment

The approximately 70-metric-ton unit required a lowboy and specialized handling for the move to Galveston. Meridian coordinated domestic trucking, export documentation, customs filing, port transfer to a MAFI and the ocean segment to China. Alexey attended the Galveston handling operation. The onward China-to-Kyrgyzstan segment was outside Meridian's scope. The unit weighed approximately 70 metric tons.
