Vermeer T1255 Cutter Attachment - Port Hueneme Ro-Ro

In 2026 Meridian Freight handled a second shipment of an identical Vermeer T1255 cutter attachment from Iowa to Port Hueneme for Ro-Ro movement to Shanghai. The 117,000-pound attachment needed oversized and overweight permits and a terminal lift plan. In 2026 it was transferred to a MAFI platform at Port Hueneme under the approved plan.

The shipment

Meridian handled a second 2026 shipment of an identical Vermeer T1255 cutter attachment from Iowa to Port Hueneme for Ro-Ro movement to Shanghai. The 117,000-pound attachment required oversized and overweight permits and a terminal lift plan. Meridian obtained the manufacturer’s lifting data, coordinated the port engineering review and reserved a suitable crane. In early September 2026 the attachment was transferred to a MAFI platform at Port Hueneme under the approved plan.
