CLAAS MAXFLEX 1050 - Deep Disassembly for 40-Foot High Cube Loading

The dealer purchased the header through a BigIron auction representative and delivered it to Meridian's facility. Meridian's assignment was limited to the technical disassembly, packing and transfer of the loaded container in Chicago. The header required deeper disassembly than the more common 30-ft Flex headers. The side panels and multiple auger-related elements were removed so the complete machine could fit within a standard 40-foot High Cube container. The header remained on a transport cart during the work so the crew could reach both sides safely and position removed components in sequence. Deep disassembly occupied one full day. Loading took approximately three hours on the second day. Responsibility ended when Meridian delivered the packed container in Chicago; the dealer controlled the onward shipment to Ukraine.
