Easy Trail Grain Carts - Bolted Export Design
In 2019 Meridian Freight ordered two new grain carts directly from the manufacturer. Three people spent four days dismantling them; every bolted connection was removed and each section was numbered and labeled. Easy Trail's bolted design allowed packing without cutting welded structural seams, and both units were loaded into a container for Vladivostok.

The shipment
Meridian ordered two new grain carts directly from the manufacturer. The factory delivered fully assembled units so they could be commissioned and checked before export preparation. Three people spent four days dismantling the carts. Every bolted connection was removed, each section was numbered and labeled, and the components were compactly arranged on the carts' own frames before being wrapped and secured. The fully bolted export design was central to the solution. Many grain carts are fabricated with welded bodies, which are not designed for routine disassembly and later reassembly. Easy Trail's bolted configuration allowed the machines to be packed efficiently without cutting welded structural seams. Both units were loaded into a container and routed through Long Beach and Busan to Vladivostok. The comparison is a design distinction, not a judgment about other manufacturers or packing providers.
