BLU-JET AT6010 - Urgent Lowboy Pickup and Container Export

The BLU-JET AT6010 was a large, heavy applicator with a frame weighing more than 6 metric tons. Meridian normally evaluates direct towing for implements of this type, but the customer required a faster move to the packing facility. Meridian therefore selected a lowboy for the Illinois pickup. This urgent option cost approximately $2,000 more than towing the implement on its own wheels, but it protected the overall project schedule and allowed the equipment to enter the packing queue without waiting for a slower rural-road move. The applicator was dismantled, loaded into a 40-foot container and transported to Istanbul. Meridian's responsibility ended there. Final assembly was outside the company's scope and was not monitored.
