Imports into Kenya must also meet Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) requirements under the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) programme; under PVoC Route A, conformity is verified by inspection in the country of origin — which is exactly where we inspect — and a Certificate of Conformity is required to clear the goods. A roughly 8-year age limit applies to some vehicle categories, so used-machinery admissibility for your specific machine is confirmed per shipment by your clearing agent, and import VAT and other charges may apply. We never quote a final landed cost until your agent confirms these lines for your unit.
