In 2015 Meridian Freight sourced and purchased a John Deere 9650 STS combine in Illinois for a private farming operation. The combine underwent an equipment inspection before export. Meridian then coordinated inland transportation to the Port of Savannah, Flat Rack loading, the marine survey and ocean freight to the Port of Novorossiysk.
