Combines · 2025
2025 case study: Meridian moved a Case IH 9120 combine from an Illinois auction to Houston, washed it for USDA and shipped it by Flat Rack in 35 days.

The farmer purchased the Case IH 9120 independently at Mowrey Auction in Milford, Illinois, and retained Meridian Freight for transportation. Meridian collected the combine, moved it to Houston and coordinated the export preparation. In Houston, the machine was washed and documented with the applicable USDA cleaning certificate. The combine was then lifted onto a 40-foot Flat Rack, lashed for ocean movement and shipped to Montevideo. The total transportation period was approximately 35 days, with no reported delay or damage during Meridian's scope. Responsibility ended in Montevideo. Those inland operations were arranged by the farmer rather than by Meridian. The combine was received in the same reported condition in which it had been purchased and was placed in operation.
