Used farm tractors from the USA · UAE
The UAE is one of the most predictable places to land a machine: 5% customs duty on most machinery, 5% VAT, and Jebel Ali — the Gulf's main gateway — at the end of the ocean leg. We import used US farm tractors to the UAE; we don't sell them and hold no stock. Our difference: we inspect the actual tractor at origin before you pay, then clear it through UAE customs instead of dropping it at the port.
Meridian owns sourcing, origin inspection, export documents and freight. Your licensed UAE broker owns the customs entry: classification, duty, VAT and the free-zone-versus-mainland call.
Process
Every shipment runs in the same order: confirm the tractor, inspect it, move it. Condition, implements and documents are settled before the freight is booked, so the entry doesn't stall at Jebel Ali.
A listing link or the make, model, year, hours and US location. If you only know the horsepower class and implements you need, we search the dealer and auction network for candidates.
We put eyes on the machine: condition, hours, completeness and whether the implements match the listing. We also have it cleaned of soil and plant debris before loading.
Export documentation, the phytosanitary certificate where required, and ocean freight to Jebel Ali in a container or on a flat rack, whichever the tractor's size calls for.
A licensed UAE broker files the entry — mainland, or free zone first if that suits your plans — and takes the tractor through clearance. Handover happens after customs, not before it.
Scope
We separate the international leg we control from the local costs and formalities your customs broker confirms.

These details let us shortlist, inspect and price the Jebel Ali leg around a real machine instead of a guess.
Share the machine and the destination; we send back the scope of the international leg in writing.
Local compliance
The US side is ours; the UAE figures are confirmed in the UAE. A licensed UAE customs broker confirms the exact tariff line for your specific tractor before you commit funds. Most machinery enters at 5% customs duty with 5% VAT, and used machinery imports are routine — a well-documented tractor faces no special hurdle. Entry through the Jebel Ali Free Zone can defer duty until the goods clear into the mainland; your broker advises which entry route fits your plans.
