Vermeer T1255 Superload to Uzbekistan

A Vermeer T1255 leaves the factory in Pella, Iowa in pieces: the self-propelled tractor at 155,000 lb, its attachment at another 117,000 lb, and the water system on pallets. In 2026 a port crane at Port Hueneme lifted the attachment onto a MAFI trailer for roll-on/roll-off shipment to Shanghai, on the route to the customer in Uzbekistan.

The shipment

This Vermeer T1255 leaves the factory in Pella, Iowa in pieces — the self-propelled tractor at 155,000 lb, its attachment at another 117,000 lb, and the water system on pallets. Every piece is a permitted superload on its own, so the road leg to Port Hueneme gets planned backwards from the sailing date: a week of state permits before a truck can roll, then ten days of transit across the country. Nothing this size sees a container. In early September 2026 a port crane at Port Hueneme lifted the attachment onto a MAFI trailer for roll-on/roll-off shipment to Shanghai, the sea leg of its route to the customer in Uzbekistan.
