Three Cultivators - Direct Towing and a 19.9-Ton Container Plan

The folded cultivator was approximately 15-16 ft wide, with working tools extending beyond the main frame. Meridian selected an appropriate rural route and moved the machine approximately 320 miles at controlled agricultural-equipment speeds. Meridian legally purchased the Tiger-Mate II for the dealer. It was later combined with two John Deere 980 cultivators in one container. All three machines had rear spring-harrow assemblies, creating a large number of steel frames, shanks, wheels and fasteners that had to be separated and positioned deliberately. The loading plan placed long heavy frames along the container walls, the densest cultivator components near the center, lighter wheels toward the forward section and boxed fasteners near the doors. This layout was designed to keep the cargo mass balanced rather than allowing either end of the container to become disproportionately heavy. The equipment inside the container weighed approximately 19,900 kilograms. Transit through New York to Gdansk took about 28 days without a reported delay or damage within Meridian's scope. The dealer completed onward delivery, assembly and sale in Ukraine.
