Planters
John Deere DB60 47-Row Planter - Engineering-Led Containerization
Meridian Freight sourced a John Deere DB60 planter from a Michigan dealer, inspected it and brought it to the packing facility, where its 47 row units were removed in a four-day disassembly. The principal frame was not cut; the machine was packed to use approximately 95% of the container volume, then moved through Long Beach and Busan to Vladivostok.

The shipment
Meridian sourced the planter from a Michigan dealer, inspected it and brought it to the packing facility. Its 47 row units and dense network of pneumatic lines, hoses and wiring made this a four-day disassembly project. The team removed the row units and disconnected, organized and protected the associated hoses and electrical connections. Grain hoppers and other large assemblies were suspended and positioned with the smaller components around them. The principal frame was not cut. Instead, the machine was reduced to its transportable assemblies and packed so that approximately 95% of the container volume was used while preserving the frame's structural integrity. Meridian then coordinated the move through Long Beach and Busan to Vladivostok.
