In 2014 Meridian Freight bought a John Deere 9610 combine at an Illinois auction for a large agricultural equipment dealer in Ukraine, placing the bids while the client's representative directed the bidding. The combine was trucked to the Port of Savannah, loaded onto a Flat Rack and shipped to the Port of Odesa.

The shipment
In 2014, Meridian Freight purchased a John Deere 9610 combine at an auction near Assumption, Illinois, for a large agricultural equipment dealer in Ukraine. The client's representative monitored the auction and directed the bidding while Meridian Freight placed the bids. After the purchase, the combine was moved by truck to the Port of Savannah, loaded onto a Flat Rack and shipped to the Port of Odesa.
