Used construction machinery & parts from the USA · Egypt
Excavators, loaders and graders ship to Alexandria on flat racks, by RoRo or in containers, and the parts to keep them running consolidate alongside. We import used US construction machinery and equipment parts to Egypt — we sell nothing and hold no stock. Every unit is verified at origin, and we clear it through Egyptian customs rather than leaving it at the port.
Meridian covers sourcing, origin verification, export paperwork and the ocean leg. The customs entry, classification, duty and VAT belong to your licensed Egyptian broker.
Process
Heavy equipment is planned from the tape measure out. We confirm the machine, verify it at origin, arrange conformity, then match it to flat rack, RoRo or container space for the Alexandria sailing.
A listing or spec sheet with weight and dimensions, or the part numbers you need. Excavator, loader, grader or a pallet of parts: the specifics drive the plan.
Condition, hours, undercarriage wear and completeness are checked on the ground before any money moves. Oversize units are measured for the load plan at the same visit.
GOEIC conformity is arranged and the shipment pre-registers through Nafeza/ACID. Flat rack, RoRo or container is chosen by the machine's true weight and dimensions; parts consolidate into shared space.
A licensed Egyptian broker files the entry and the cargo comes out of Alexandria cleared. Port drop-off is not the end of our job; clearance is.
Scope
We separate the international leg we control from the local costs and formalities your despachante confirms.
Quote
Measurements and part numbers first: with the true weight, dimensions or exact references we can price the Alexandria leg without padding for the unknown.
Share the machine and the destination; we send back the scope of the international leg in writing.
Local compliance
Meridian's scope ends where Egypt's tariff begins. A licensed Egyptian customs broker confirms the exact duty line, VAT and used-goods admissibility for your specific machine or parts against the current Egyptian Customs Authority tariff before you commit funds. A reduced VAT rate can apply to qualifying production equipment. Used machinery is subject to GOEIC conformity assessment, and every shipment pre-registers through the Nafeza/ACID single-window.
Meridian has coordinated more than 1,000 exports to more than 40 countries.
Recent shipment

We shipped a John Deere W260 self-propelled windrower to Egypt on a Hapag-Lloyd flat rack with custom wood bracing and heavy-duty tie-downs at port. The header was crated separately to protect its sections during the 35-day ocean transit to Alexandria.
