John Deere parts · Bolivia
Bolivia is landlocked, so a part ordered in the United States reaches it one of two ways: by air into Santa Cruz airport when the machine is down, or by ocean to Iquique, Chile, and overland from there. We work the United States side: we source the parts by part number from John Deere dealers and aftermarket suppliers, consolidate the order in Miami, and handle the export documents and the freight. We are the export company, not a dealer with a counter in Bolivia, and M-Farm, the John Deere parts store at mfarmusa.com, is our affiliated company.
Meridian handles parts pricing by part number, export documentation and freight from the United States. The Bolivian declaration, the tariff heading, duty and IVA remain your customs broker's side.
Process
Every parts order runs in the same order: part numbers first, price second, dispatch method third. Choosing the method before the numbers are confirmed is how a box ends up on a slow lane when the machine is down, or on an expensive one when it is not.
Send each part number with the quantity and the city in Bolivia. If you do not have the numbers, look them up first in John Deere's online parts catalog using your machine's model and serial number: we quote against part numbers only. Tell us at this point whether the machine is down, because that decides whether air freight is worth its cost.
You get the parts price first. If a number has been superseded or an equivalent is available, we say so before you pay rather than quietly substituting one. The freight is calculated later, on the actual consolidated shipment, and quoted separately.
The parts are ordered once the order is confirmed and paid, and consolidated in Miami as they arrive. If more orders are coming, the shipment can wait for them: several orders travelling together normally cost less freight than each one sent as soon as it is ready, and if part of an order is ready early we tell you what sending it separately would add.
With the parts in hand, the freight is calculated on the actual weight and dimensions of the consolidated shipment and quoted to you separately. The order is packed for export, with ISPM-15 compliant wood where wood is used, and dispatched with the United States export documents and a commercial invoice and packing list your customs broker can file against. Air goes into Santa Cruz airport; ocean goes to Iquique, Chile, and continues overland on a leg your importer arranges. You get tracking once it moves.
Scope
We separate the international leg we control from the local costs and formalities your customs broker confirms.
Quote
These let us price the parts without guessing; the freight follows once the order is consolidated.
Send the part numbers and the destination city; we reply with the parts price, and the freight follows once the order is consolidated.
Local compliance
We do not file your Bolivian declaration and we do not quote a duty figure. The tariff heading, the duty rate, IVA and any permit that applies are confirmed by your customs broker, the despachante, against the actual part and the actual invoice. Our side is a commercial invoice and a packing list that describe the goods accurately enough for that work to be done. Confirm the heading with your customs broker before you order, not once the shipment has arrived.
Meridian has coordinated more than 1,000 exports to more than 40 countries.
Recent shipment

In early May 2026 a US transport company hired us to export a Case IH Axial-Flow combine to Bolivia. We received the machine at the Port of Houston, washed it, and obtained the fumigation certificate. The combine was then secured on a flat rack, and an NCB inspector certified the load plan, lashing points, weight, and dimensions. With US customs export approval in hand, it sailed to the Port of Iquique, Chile, where the owner took delivery for the final leg into Bolivia.
